Personal Trainer - Terms and Conditions
Self Employed - Personal Trainers (PT’s) are working on a self employed basis. Where P T Scotland (PTS) is a platform for marketing of their services.
Insurance - PT’s will have their own Public Liability Insurance for at least 5 million pounds, be fully qualified and experienced in the services they are delivering via PTS.
Reps - All instructors must be Level 3 Reps or equivalent, with evidence provided to PTS.
Disclosure – PT’s will hold a current Disclosure Scotland Certificate if providing their services to young adults and children, with evidence provided to PTS.
Music - PT’s must be covered by a PPL license or use PPL free music. PTS do not take any responsibility for a PPL license not being valid and music being used illegally.
Timekeeping - PT’s are required to arrive, fully prepared and ready to deliver their service at the agreed start time for our customers. Repeated lateness will result in the termination of PT's agreement with PTS and any losses PTS make as a result of lateness will be directly invoiced to the PT.
Service Cover – if the PT requires their service be covered, the PT must try to arrange cover themselves from a PT registered on the website and inform PTS immediately. If no cover is possible, PTS must be informed immediately to ensure we can look after out customer's needs. Repeated request for cover may result in termination of the PT's agreement with PTS.
Profiles – PT's must update their own profile pages to ensure the information is accurate and up to date. Any information that is found not to be accurate could result in termination of the PT's agreement with PTS.
Leaving PTS Website – PT’s are required to provide at least two weeks’ notice if they wish to leave the website or service they deliver for PTS. /class they provide on behalf of PTS and NBS
Termination of Position - PTS have the right to terminate the PT’s position immediately, if they deem any of the terms and conditions have been breached.
Equipment and Clothing – PT’s agree to use and/or provide equipment that is in full, safe working order when delivering services. PT's also agree to wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the service they are providing. The clothing should be clean, smart and non-offensive slogans or attire should be worn.
Security – the PT registered with the website should be the only person using the access information provided. Any PT who provides this information knowingly to a third party will have their agreement with PTS terminated immediately and PTS may pass this on to the correct authorities as a legal matter.
Etiquette – Although you are self employed, you are a representative of PTS. You are required to demonstrate professional business etiquette at all times towards customers, colleagues, members, non-members and anyone linked to PTS. Any behaviour deemed inappropriate by PTS will not be tolerated and will lead to immediate removal from the PTS website and services and all agreements terminated. If required your details will be passed to the appropriate authorities as a legal matter. PT’s must always be a representative of PTS and no other business/services should be discussed or promoted within PTS other than the services agreed within your profile or with written approval by PTS. Any one found promoting business not through written agreement with PTS will be removed immediately from the PTS website and agreements with PTS terminated.
Payments – PTS will invoice PT’s in respect of the services provided by the PTS website. Invoices require to be paid within 30 days of issue. Any payments not received within agreed time, will be charged interest and may be passed for collection by a debt collection agency. PTS will make payments to PT's for services delivered on behalf of PTS within 30 days of invoice.
Profile Information and Marketing - all marketing and information on the PTS website for PT’s must be agreed by PTS. It must both represent your business and our brand. Our logos, literature, social media and online material will be PTS branded accordingly.These are subject to change at any time.
These Terms and Conditions can be viewed on our website and PT's agree to these terms and conditions, unless a written response to the contrary is received by PTS. These Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time.
